Part-time Internship

So You Think You Can Code?

Build web applications with FreshCode.

You need to be:

  1. Smart.
  2. An exceptional coder. This is not a coding course. Do you have a cool website? Put a lot work into your school projects? Show me.
  3. A good writer. If I get one more MS Word CV with imaginary words or "MS Word" listed as a programming skill, I'll rip my eyes out. Write correctly. Spelling and punctuation count for more than you think, e.g. SMS lingo.
  4. Online with a fast Internet connection.

What will I learn as a part-time intern?

You will do real work and learn a few things at FreshCode you will not learn at a corporate firm:

  • How to build beautiful things like RhythmMusicStore.com and RooiHub.
  • How to design with usability in mind.
  • How to price software.
  • How to accept payments.
  • How to run a tight South African startup.
  • Not how to make coffee. I make my own coffee.

What will I earn?

If you tackle a project and decide to stay on, you'll own a part of it. More importantly, you will learn what it's like to work for a driven software startup.

"I never let my schooling interfere with my education." - Mark Twain

Why are you offering a part-time internship?

FreshCode has too many clients for its coders - too many great ideas waiting to be built. If you know your story, you get to work on some.

How do I apply?

Send your buzz-word ridden CV to jobs@freshcode.co. You'll get a same-day reply.
