FreshCode was involved with the deployment of the popular RooiHub peer-to-peer file-sharing application used by students on university campuses (esp. Stellenbosch).
RooiHub is a decentralised, virtual peer-to-peer DC++ hub. It allows popular DC++ client software to interact with other virtual hubs on a local area network without a central DC++ server.
What is RooiHub?
- RooiHub is peer-to-peer DC++ hub software
- …that talks to other virtual hubs on the local network (LAN) to form a decentralised network
- …which has no common point-of-failure. Like the Internet.
- It is developed in C++ and runs transparently alongside other popular DC++ clients, like ApexDC++.
